  • Cala Mondragó and Playa S’Amarador white sand and crystal clear waters await you at these 2 beautiful coves at the edge of a natural reserve. You can walk across them with the right footwear. Although surrounded by pine trees, they offer all you can ask for: a small bar, toilets and showers, sun loungers and umbrellas. Might get busy in high season.
  • Cala Llombards is a secluded beach surrounded by cliffs, rocks and pines. A sheltered bay with white soft sand and clear water. Gentle waves make it ideal for snorkelling and swimming with children. If you make your way there, we suggest a stop off at the picturesque fishing harbour of Cala Figuera – Mediterranean flair at its best.
  • Cala Romantica crystal clear shallow water, ideal to go snorkelling around the cliffs. The beautiful Cala Mandia and Cala Anguila are right next to it.

These 3 secluded sandy beaches are quite remote so be prepared for a bumpy ride through a small mountain range. They are some of the most natural beaches on the island and if you head for Cala Torta, there’s a small beach bar open in peak season.

Once the winding roads have been navigated there are several viewpoints from which to admire the dramatic coastline. The final stretch of the coastal road offers more impressive views at the lighthouse.

  • Es Trenc an unspoiled long beach with turquoise water and sand dunes in a natural park. It is one of the most popular beaches on the Island for its Caribbean feel. Wild and natural, Es Trenc offers few amenities; just one restaurant and a few “chiringuitos” are available. Accessible through the villages of Sa Rapita / Ses Covetes, Ses Salines or Colonia San Jordi. Can be crowded at peak times, especially during weekends.
  • Playa d’es Caragol is a wild and isolated beach with sand dunes and clear water. Only reachable by a 20 minute walk from Faro de Ses Salines, making it quieter than other beaches. Nudism is permitted.
